Jeff Hintz Memorial

I am writing you today about a man who I have traveled through this world with and have been proud to call a friend for close to 30 years, Jeff Hintz.  Jeff was a friend, a father, a husband and like us all he was flawed – this however is not and will never be his legacy.

I was fortunate enough to spend time as his friend in college back in the 90’s. Then I roomed with Jeff in Minneapolis as we both started our careers.  I saw him grow into a leader as he went to New Orleans and I was off to the islands.  Years later he stood next to me in my wedding as I saw Jeff's love for Heather blossom into
something wonderful.  The family they would create was filled with everything life could offer, the hope, the stress, and the joy of it all.

For whatever reason he is now gone, but he will forever exist within us.  It now falls on us to carry on with the support that Jeff provided for Heather, Harlan, Hudson, and Hawkins if only in the smallest of ways.  I know Jeff would have done anything in the world if I had asked him for help and that is what I ask of each of you now.
