Jeff & Jody Plew and Family

I am here as the humble representative of the countless number of folks that have met Jeff. He has an amazing gift; If you meet him you are his friend! I am also here for his family while they are immediately focused on being with Jeff everyday. We all know Jeff for being an extrovert of the highest order and the life of any room he is in. I had the pleasure of working with Jeff and came to know that beyond everything he does to make people laugh and smile, he is an amazing husband a dedicated father, grandfather and an incredibly loyal friend. Of course he is also one tough Marine!!

Early on the morning of October 5th, Jeff was involved in an incredibly terrible motorcycle accident. His family is providing updates on Facebook, but suffice it to say that Jeff is pretty banged up.

Here is what we know. The accident involved a garbage truck and resulted in several injuries including:

Jeff is currently in a medically induced coma and will be starting what will likely be a series of surgeries over coming days and weeks.

I know Jeff is a fighter and will come through; his Marine instincts will certainly kick in. That said, the recovery journey will be incredibly hard for Jeff, Jody and their family. As I write today, we don't know what that journey will look like, but its hard to imagine a world where we can't help. Money won’t make this easier, but it can certainly help he and his wife Jody during what will likely be a tough journey.

I am appealing to anyone that has met Jeff and feels compelled in joining me and helping contribute to a fund that will provide relief to our friend Jeff and Jody during these trying times. Everything we collect will go to Jody to help with things as simple as meals and potential home accommodations they may need to consider for his recovery.
