Jeff & Krystal Workshop Fund
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Jennifer, and I am fundraising for my daughter and her family. They had a fire break out in their shop building on their property in Cottageville, SC, early on Thursday, April 28, 2022. The fire was so bad that they lost everything in the building they used to make the things to sell for their family business and everything they used to do their gardening and work on their property for their livestock. The building itself was a total loss as well.
Jeff & Krystal met in 9th grade and married a few years after graduating High school. They have a four year old son Jeffery or as we call him "Boogie". They have a small start up farm there in Cottageville, SC and handmake homemade candles and a variety of soaps. Her husband, Jeff, is a self-taught bladesmith. Jeff creates custom knives that he sells for their business. He loves everything about the art of bladesmithing and spends countless hours learning his craft. Since childhood, Jeff has been a Carpenter by trade and has worked for a close family friends business.
They would use the funds to rebuild their shop and replace much-needed items to continue their business. I am trying to help them because I know they are hard-working and loving people. I have watched them grow up and be there for one another and their families.
They did have insurance on the building; however, it only covers a portion of the actual structure and a part of the contents. They are so grateful that they might get back funds to replace some things. But as we all know, there are some things money can't replace. Jeff had various tools and items handed down to him by his father, grandfather and other family. He is trying to move forward as best he can.
Thank you for your generosity.
