Jeff McEvoy

By now, you may have heard that Jeff McEvoy fell from a ladder while removing a fallen tree limb from the roof of a customer’s cabin at his business, Weatherby’s Maine Fishing and Hunting Lodge.

And if you know Jeff, you know he doesn’t like to do things half-assed; he landed on his head and broke three bones in his neck (c2, c4, c6) two bones in his back (t3 & t4) and 4 ribs.

 But, a fall from a ladder won’t stop Jeff, he is talking and can move all his extremities - THANK GOD!! We are calling him the “Miracle Man”  but he has a long recovery ahead of him.

 Jeff is the sole proprietor of his seasonal guiding business and will likely not be able to work for the rest of the season.  We are looking to friends/family/customers for help to offset the medical bills and loss of income so he can focus on healing.

 If you know Jeff McEvoy you know he’s a “doer”:  he is an outdoor enthusiast, an avid skier and fisherman.  He coaches middle and high school nordic skiing and sole proprietor of Weatherby’s Maine Fishing and Hunting Lodge.  He's an awesome father of 2 college students and a great friend.
