Jeff Meeks Fund

Hey Guys,

As you all know, our father, Jeff Meeks, was suddenly stung by a hornet on our farm and went into anaphylactic shock within minutes. Since we were so far from help we were doomed from the start. His partner, Billie Donegan and myself, Katreena Meeks, tried everything we could to save his precious life but unfortunately, we could not. Due to so much time elapsing between the sting and emergency services arriving too much damage had been done to his brain. Jeff ended up passing at 3:45am on August 22nd in Liberty, Kentucky, which also happened to be his mother’s birthday.

Our family trip down to the farm that week was to put my grandmother to rest at the place she loved and grew up at. Also, the place where my grandfather was put to rest. The tragedy of losing our father when we were all supposed to finally come together as a family to mourn and celebrate is almost too unbearable, but we all have come out of this stronger and more connected.

To bring all of this to a close, we are asking for any small donation to help us with the cost of cremation, future lawyer fees, outstanding bills, and for his celebration of life party. Anything helps and we appreciate each and every one of you more than you’ll ever know!
