Jeff Mullin Medical and Funeral Expenses

I am writing to start a fundraiser for Jeff Mullin and my sister Raquel Sa.

Jeff tragically had a cardiac event on Thanksgiving morning and passed away late on Thursday December 7th. Jeff and Raquel have been together for 16 years and had the most beautiful wedding two years ago. This tragic event happened to two wonderful people; life is truly not fair. I cannot imagine two more wonderful people together. Sadly, this tragedy has left a financial burden on Raquel with pending medical bills and funeral services. For those of you who may not know Jeff well, I would like to share more about who he is: Jeff was just 44 years old. He was someone who loved life and made the most of all its moments. Jeff was a former firefighter at Pease Air Force Base in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. He was a wonderful, selfless person; the first thing I think about when I think of Jeff is how caring he was and how he was always willing to help others. Jeff would regularly volunteer to serve meals on Thanksgiving at the Pine Street Inn. He also volunteered during Christmas time in making baskets for those less fortunate. Most recently, he would spend several hours per week visiting and caring for his father who is in a nursing home. Doing things for others was true to his core. Even after his passing, Jeff continued to help others by being an organ donor, saving the lives of 4 people. I can see why he started his career as a firefighter and moved on to start his own business. Jeff was an avid sports fan, rooting for Bruins, Celtics, Sox and Patriots. Jeff also loved eighties hair bands, rock bands and absolutely loved live concerts. Jeff was a lover of dogs, especially his dog Riley who passed two years ago. Jeff loved traveling with Raquel and visiting their favorite spot, Newport, RI. Jeff loved hosting people and serving up his famous martinis.
