Jeff & Phillis Maloy and Hurricane recovery

Hi my name is Shirley and I am 1st cousin to Jeff Maloy. Him and his wife had settled in to a RV park in Madison, Florida recently and Phillis went to hospital and after many tests they discovered she had Covid lung. She is currently under Drs care for that. Then the week before Hurricane Idalia came through, Jeff tested positive for Covid and then a few days later she did. As the Hurricane approached their anxiety at an all time high could not have prepared them for the experience of being in a Cat. 4 storm and surviving only to find out you have no power no transportation to leave the area even if you could get out. With their medical conditions they need help to make repairs to RV, if not buy a different one, generator because they were told it would be weeks before electricity is restored, buy gas for generator and extra expenses such as transportation to Drs. and food to help feed their pets and themselves till this ordeal is over.

Please give no matter how little to help two individuals who were already having it rough before the Cat 4 Hurricane came through.

They have applied to FEMA and still have not received any funds to help even though others in the same area have. Its taking too long. Please help them so that they can survive this ordeal.
