Jeff Pierce Battling Leukemia

Hi, I'm Jeff Monin, a former baseball teammate of Jeff Pierce at NC State. Many of us have kept in touch over the years. We've had group texts amongst former teammates following the NC State baseball team heading to Omaha, NC State to the Final Four in Basketball, and most importantly, hearing about how everyone and their families are doing. Jeff reached out recently to let me know that he is currently in the hospital and diagnosed with Leukemia. Jeff is now undergoing treatment at Regions Hospital in St. Paul, MN. Jeff is a loving husband to his wife Serena and father to 5 children. Post college, Jeff had a professional baseball career, drafted in 1991, retired in 1997. Jeff made it to the Major Leagues with the Boston Red Sox in 1995. Jeff started a business, Busy Beaver Builders and Remodeling. Jeff's 3 oldest sons are working for the company. Jeff's daughter is currently in graduate school and youngest son is a Jr. in college.

Jeff is now undergoing treatment for Leukemia which has put a financial burden on his family.

I want to raise awareness for Jeff's disease and treatment in hopes of assisting with financial aid for ongoing medical treatment and future expenses.

Our thoughts and prayers are with Jeff, Serena and the kids.
