Help Jeff Roberts Fight Pancreatic Cancer

Hello Everyone,

My name is Jordan Harlan and I am the Niece of Jeffery Roberts. On behalf of my Uncle Jeff and Aunt Amanda Roberts, I’ve set up this GoFundMe 100% in their benefit. In order to give my family peace during this time, I have been instructed to keep everyone updated and will do so when I hear from my Aunt Amanda.

Just this past July my Uncle was only suspected of having Cancer and then shortly after that he was given the official diagnosis of Adenocarcinoma Pancreatic Cancer. This Cancer is unbelievably aggressive and fast acting. It’s barely been a month since his diagnosis and he has already been to multiple Cancer hospitals and is currently fighting for his life. Last Thursday the 25th Doctors gave him 3-9 months to live without treatment or 12-18 months with chemotherapy and radiation. The very next day he became so jaundice, in order to keep him from going septic he was given emergency surgery to save his life. They’ve placed a stint in his bile duct in the mean time but he is still extremely sick and weak. We are desperately hoping he will be able to have the Whipple procedure done ASAP to remove the tumor from his Pancreas. However, because he has thrombosis (blood clots in his liver) the current hospital he’s at is telling us he is not a candidate for the procedure. We are holding onto hope! He has an appointment September 7th with another doctor who does the procedure.

Until Then I’m Asking For All The Prayers, Love & Support Possible During This Time. My Uncle cannot work at all and will be receiving chemo twice a week. My Aunt is working nights then driving 2 hours DAILY to be with him in St. Louis. They have completely depleted themselves dry financially, mentally and physically in the pursuit of keeping him alive. My aunt has already sold her ring and motorcycle to get him the help he needs. He really needs his wife by his side and she really needs to be with her husband so it’s time we all come together to alleviate some of the burden (gas, food, medical expenses, etc.) and show our love and support! If you have it, a dollar or two WILL absolutely make a difference! If you don’t, a simple share of this fundraiser will also greatly help so someone else who does, gets the chance to help!
