Jeff Schaffer's Family Support

Hello, Monday morning, November 11th,  our family lost not just a husband but a father, a leader, a caregiver. My name is  Amanda. I am Jeff's first born. Just to tell you a little about who my dad was I'll just write because I don't know exactly where I am going with this. Jeff Schaffer worked everyday to provide for his wife, two kids, and his mother. He was a baseball coach, basketball coach, any kind of coach my brother needed when he was playing sports. Jeff did his absolute best to never miss a practice and never let any kid feel like they weren't contributing to the team. He was hard on us but only out of love. He wanted our lives to be better than his, as he would often say. His passing has happened so quickly and staggeringly. After careful consideration and suggestions from family and friends we've decided to open this GoFundMe as although he worked hard and provided for us with him gone the future is scary and unsure. We've put the goal where it is to cover the expenses of his funeral and to at least give us another month in our current home before we find a new beginning. A new beginning we hope he follows us in and is proud of. 

The donations will be cherished forever and will directly help us the Schaffer family as we try to navigate this new territory we never thought we would have to find.
