On September 21, 2024, we lost an extraordinary human. Doctor Jeff Shafer was an incredible husband, dad, son, uncle, bonus dad, best friend, colleague, peer, and leader. He was so many things to so many people. Life will not be the same without him!
Jeff had a love for many things - sitting on the front porch, reading a book, watching a thunderstorm and Star Wars everything. The void he will leave in our lives is unmeasurable.
We will remember Jeff for so many things, but most of all, his compassion for others and making this world a better place. Jeff’s commitment to serving others and saving lives was demonstrated on a daily basis through his work as an ER Doctor & EMS Director. He was humble, kind, generous, and loving. This was demonstrated again when he became an organ donor.
We are heartbroken but we are strong! Jeff has left an amazing impact on us and this world.
This GoFundMe has been set up to provide financial assistance to Jamie, Seth, and Alli in an effort to ease their pain as they begin to heal. Please help support them during this unfathomable time.
