Jeff Tichy Memorial Fund

It is with great sadness that we share the tragic news of the passing of Jeff “Tick” Tichy. Jeff was diagnosed with cancer earlier this year and was in the process of recovering when on October 9th, he had a sudden heart attack and tragically passed away at our family home in Royalton. No words can describe what our family is going through right now.

Jeff was a beloved friend to so many, and above all else, he prioritized being an amazing father to our 7-year-old daughter Ashley, a great husband to me, and a caring son to his mother. He was a hard-working, adventurous, creative, and artistic soul. His great loves outside of those he cared for were art, music, and cars. Incredibly generous, Jeff was that friend that was most likely to drop whatever he was doing to help a person out. He had the unique ability to always make you laugh. That wonderful ability to find humor in any situation, even throughout his battle with cancer is inspirational. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Many of you have asked how you can help our family during this difficult time. If you’re able to, please consider a financial contribution to help with the end-of-life expenses we’re facing, as Ashley and I must now learn to navigate life without our husband and father. We were in no way prepared to lay Jeff to rest so soon or to endure the financial and emotional burdens we now face. Any and all donations will be used to lay Jeff to rest and help provide for Ashley during this time of unspeakable grief and hardship.

Every donation is a blessing with immediate and lasting impact to our family. Thank you in advance for any help you are able to give. Your generosity is greatly appreciated and will provide us with much needed help and comfort as we deal with this tragedy.

Thank you to everyone who has reached out to our family to express condolences. Please know that we appreciate all the healing words and prayers in this difficult time.

Arrangements for a memorial service and/or celebration of life are still being finalized, but we will update this page with details when they’re available.
