On December 29, 2021, we lost a beloved brother, Jeffrey P Tierney, after a courageous battle to cancer. Jeff was an active member of our union, always willing to help out anyone with a smile on his face. Jeff was proud to be an Edison Police Officer for 21 years, and serve the community he loved. Recently, Jeff was promoted to Detective Sergeant, and was an amazing supervisor as well as friend and leader. Jeff was also a member of the EPD Honor Guard.

 

Jeff is survived by his wife, Jennifer Tierney, and two children, Kyle James and Lyla Jane, his mother Mary Jane Tierney, uncle, James Tierney & his wife Carol, aunt, Patricia Tierney, and many extended family members and friends.

 

We are hoping to raise some money for the Tierney family in their time of grief and sorrow. Please spread the word. We know if it was one of us, Jeff would have been there in a heartbeat to help any one of us.
