Jeff West, at age 51, passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on 10/06/2020, apparently to unforeseen cardiac issues. Jeff leaves behind many friends and very few family members, none of which can shoulder the weight of funeral expenses. It is our hope that all of us can come together, giving whatever we can, and help our friend, brother and father have the best (reasonable) service possible!
Jeff, as many knew, was the sort of man who would stay up all night talking you through whatever you happened to be going through; the type of man who would give someone the shirt off his own back if he thought that they needed it.
Jeff was a loving, laughing, joyous soul, and a friend to all.
He was a well-known and well-loved musician; a phenomenal drummer /singer/songwriter and was known for playing in many bands over the years, big and small, including touring and professionally performing with great artists like Lee Greenwood, Smokey Robinson, Donna Summer, Wayne Newton, Prince Miner and others. Jeff started drumming as a young child; he would regularly volunteer to teach young people in that art and give random demonstrations whenever the mood struck!
Funds donated will be used to pay his final expenses, will go towards funeral expenses, and to help to help with other immediate expenses directly related to his untimely passing. Any remaining funds, if any, will go towards future expenses of his minor child. CJ Minor, Jeff's biological sister, will be in charge of seeing that all donated funds are appropriately accounted for and that funds are used to pay expenses directly related to this cause and as stated.
