Jeff's Mantle Cell Lymphoma Fund
Donation protected
On July 25, 2018 our family’s lives changed as we knew it. We woke up heading out camping, it was our daughters 7th Birthday. We were going to have the best camping trip ever, however before we left camping Jeff had to stop by his Doctor's office for some news. The Doctor stated I'm sorry to tell you, but you have cancer.
Jeff was diagnosed with Mantle Cell Lymphoma cancer, it’s a type of rare blood cancer that’s incurable. With the help of family and friends we went out to Mayo clinic for treatment and to find out what our options for treatment were.
Over the course of two years Jeff went through surgeries and six Chemo treatments and was watched over by the best mantle cell lymphoma doctor in the US…. fast forward to today,
We spent a week at Mayo clinic for a battery of tests and they put Jeff through the ringer. Jeff has been approved to have a stem cell transplant which will put him in remission for a longer period of time, fingers crossed. Our family will head out the first of July until the middle of August.
While we are in Minnesota we will have no income coming in to help with travel expenses, housing and copay's. We are asking our family and friends if you are able to help in any way, any amount of donation will be very much appreciated. We know that with everything going on in the world today that everyone is having a hard time financially and if this is not something you are able to help with at this time we would very much appreciate your prayers during this difficult time.
We thank you for your support,
The Ackerman Family
