Jefferey Cox Strong Fund
On August 3, 2018 Jefferey was doing what he loved...playing football. It is his senior year of high school. During the game Jefferey did not get up from a tackle. CPR was performed on the field and he was
life-flighted to a hospital. He is paralyzed from the neck down. It was determined he suffered a broken neck. Jefferey had surgery on August 4, 2018 to stabilize his neck. It was determined then that Jefferey also has a spinal cord injury at the C1 level. He did not sever his spinal cord but does have a contusion on it that is blocking all signals below his C1.
Jefferey spent 45 days in ICU at Vanderbilt Hospital. He is now
currently at Shepherd Center in Atlanta, Georgia. This has changed our lives tremendously. Jefferey needs assistive technology to make him
more independent, a handicap accessible vehicle and house. We truly
appreciate any donation that can be given. We also ask for your prayers as well please.
