Jeffery "DOC" Tolson

My name is James Tolson. For any one that knows me knows that I normally won't and don't ask for much, but I must in this scenario. On the 14th of this month my father, who was known to most as Doc, was in a car wreck on highway 20 in Claremore, Oklahoma. He was pronounce dead on the scene. According to the examiner, the cause of death was blunt force trauma to the chest with multiple broken ribs and both lungs collapsed. Due to not having life insurance, my mother and our family is in quite a bind financially and are needing help.
My father was a very unique man. I believe that is probably the best way to put it, but I can honestly say I wouldn't be the man I am today if not for the way I was raised and for his unique ways! It truly brought me to be the man and father I am today. For 45 years, he was a long haul truck driver. While that profession can keep you quite busy he was also a Veteran, Father, and grandfather. He loved us kids more than we'll ever know, because he never really showed that side of himself. Generally he might tell you but that's it. Rather recently, He had opened up to me and in my early 30s, I finally truly got to see that side of my father. There was a lot of apologies, understandings and forgiveness given within, but I'll end that thought there as id just like to keep the rest of it between he and I. I'm truly blessed for those understanding. For a man who was a bit of a loner, perfectly fine with it just being him and my mom, gosh that man could talk! He loved everyones company, even if he would never admit it. If you stopped to get a drink with him, clear the next half hour... He also loved guns, motorcycles, his dogs, and my mother dearly!
We currently do not know the exact price of what everything is going to cost and etc. So we are setting the goal at 6,000. We know for a fact that the cremation will cost roughly 3,000. A little bit will be used to relocate their RV to my property or her friends as she won't be able to afford all the stuff that comes with it without my father’s disability check. Anything that we raise over needed, we then plan to forward on to the same cause in his name. ( There won't be a viewing or service. At a date later announced we may have a get together in his honor when life isn't so hectic but he didn't want a service)
We all appreciate any and everything. If you can't give that's okay to just please continue to pray for my family as we go through this. Thank you and God Bless!
Philippians 4:6-7:
Don't worry about anything: instead pray about everything. Tell god what you need, and thank him for all he has done. Then you will experience God's peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts!
