Jeffrey Bobzin and family

Hi everyone,

 

My name is Chelsea and I am creating this GoFundMe page for Jeffrey Bobzin and his family, a family I consider as part of my own.

 

As many of you know, Jeff was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer in September, 2018, at the age of 38, with a prognosis of 5 years. Immediately, he put on his game face (Dodgers style) and started treatment for this aggressive and unrelenting disease. He was willing and ready to do everything in his power to have as much time as possible with his wife, Misty, and his children, Eric and Alyssa (14 and 11 at the time). He went through countless rounds of chemotherapy and radiation. He also traveled to MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas where doctors were in collaboration with health systems nationwide for further treatment opportunities. During this time, he demonstrated an immense amount of strength and perseverance and was able to make beautiful memories with his family. Unfortunately, Jeff’s time was cut short as he took his final breath on Monday, January 3rd, 2022, surrounded by his loved ones. He fought tirelessly until the very end and his family is at peace knowing he is no longer suffering.

 

If you knew Jeff, you know his only wish is that his family is taken care of. With that being said, the extensive amount of treatments and traveling added up very quickly to overwhelming amounts. Funeral and memorial costs will quickly add up as well.
