Jeffrey Chickis Recovery from Motorcycle Accident

Hi, my name is Jodi and I created this GoFundMe for my best friend Michelle Kovalovsky and Jeff Chickis's son, Jeffrey Chickis, who was in a horrific motorcycle accident on Wednesday, March 13th and has a long road to recovery ahead of him.

While driving to work on his Harley, Jeffy was hit head on by a truck that crossed the yellow line. Thankfully Jeffy was wearing a helmet, however, the impact was so severe it tore his helmet off. Jeffy was life flighted to Allegheny General Hospital where he is in the trauma ICU. He suffered multiple broken bones including his wrist, arm, nose, multiple pelvic fractures, facial lacerations, and internal bleeding. He will require multiple surgeries and has a tremendous road ahead to recovery.

During his recovery, Jeffy will have medical bills and extended time off of doing the work that he loves as a collision repair technician. Those who know Jeffy know he is the hardest working and most driven young man at just 19 years old. I am hoping to raise funds to ease the financial stress for Jeffy and his family during his long road to physical recovery.
