Funeral costs for Jeffrey Farinha

Hello, my name is Jessica Farinha. On Sunday, July 23rd at approximately 11:30pm, my older brother, Jeffrey Manuel Farinha was murdered at the very young age of 40. The full circumstances leading up to his death are not fully known. What we do know is that our family will no longer be able to create new memories with him. My parents will not see him grow to his full potential and will have to bury their firstborn child. He will never get to see his daughter, Adelina graduate from high school or send her off to college. There will be no opportunity for him to question any boys that want to date her and he will never get to walk her down the aisle at her wedding one day. My son, Truett has forever lost his TT. My partner, Sam has lost out on having another brother to rely on. I no longer have a sibling to grow old with or a sibling to help care for our parents together.

We were robbed of these moments by people that have no remorse for human life and committing such a senseless act.

Like many of us, my brother had his own demons and this never stopped him from being a bright light in a dark world. He would gladly give the shirt or backpack off his back to someone if he felt they were in need because he had family to support him and many around him did not. He would do all he could to make you laugh - a funny face, voice, or gesture even if it meant he looked like a fool. He was always putting others' needs above his own. We will forever miss his big smile and even bigger laugh, his out of this world hugs, and his kind heart.

Our family must now await a coroner's report and an investigation. We must await a trial where we will listen to the awful details that have come to sum up the end of my brother's life and must pray justice will be had. We must pick a place for my loving brother to forever lie to rest. Along with this comes many financial burdens and uncertainties that we were not expecting, nor are ready to make for a 40-year-old man that was so full of life.
