Jeffrey get the BioNess devices

Hi! For those of who do not know, on November 22, 2022 Jeffrey suffered a right side stroke with left side of the body deficits. At that moment our family’s life changed forever. The progress he has made since that day has been nothing short of amazing! He has went from bedridden to wheelchair to walking with only a cane and sometimes with nothing at all. He is continuing to work hard in therapy to become more and more independent! With that said he is still having a difficult time with the function of his left arm and hand.

We were given the opportunity to try a device to help with functional movements for his hand and possibly one for his foot to eliminate the use of an AFO brace. This is something that can help Jeffrey get back his “normal” as close as possible and be more active with the boys.

This device is called a BioNess and insurance will not cover it but it comes with a nice price tag. We are hoping to raise enough to cover or at least cushion some of the cost.

The arm and foot brace cost around $5,530 each. We are aiming just for one right now and hopefully can get the other with time.
