Help Jeff Schrock with Medical Bills
Jeff and Carolyn Schrock are the owners of The Bread Box in Chewelah, Washington. Known for their delicious bread, cinnamon rolls, and sour cream twists—served with a smile and a listening ear—the Schrocks are a delightful fixture at their bakery and area farmers markets.
On April 29, Jeff Schrock had a heart attack that required open heart surgery for a triple bypass. The Schrocks do not have medical insurance. They are negotiating medical bills totaling over $120,000. Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center reduced their bill by the usual percentage for cash payment, offering an additional discount of $18,000 if they are able to pay in full by August.
This is an opportunity for our community to show Jeff and Carolyn and their two youngest children how much we love their family and how much we respect their testimony. Please consider helping the Schrocks by removing some of their financial burden from Jeff’s medical bills.
In addition to GoFundMe, donations may be made:
at any Banner Bank branch into the donation account for Jeffrey and Carolyn Schrock
at Front Porch Farm in Arden
by mail to: The Bread Box, PO Box 1084, Chewelah, WA 99109
And of course, you can shop at The Bread Box (just over the railroad tracks at 105 W. Main in Chewelah) and leave your donation or generous tip there.
