Empower a Journey of Faith and Service

The Lord has called me to embark on a journey to Panama with YWAM (Youth With A Mission) beginning January 27th. There I will spend three months learning and growing in my relationship with God and being discipled in living out my faith. Then, I will spend two months applying what I learned serving the local communities in Panama and Costa Rica. I and my team will make God known through community service, children’s ministry, Bible teaching and distribution, prayer ministry, and even construction work.

I firmly believe the purpose of this trip is to deepen my obedience to God’s voice. Never before has His calling been so clear in my life, and I am certain that I must respond in faith, even when the timing or circumstances don’t seem to align with my plans. Through this mission, I hope to grow in faith, wisdom, and understanding, but most importantly, to cultivate a greater love for Him. After all, we are commanded to love the Lord our God with all our heart, soul, mind, and strength, and it is my deepest desire to fulfill this commandment wholeheartedly.

Simply stepping out in obedience to this calling has already stretched and strengthened my faith in remarkable ways. It required me to leave behind the familiar and step into the unknown, trusting God to guide my steps. I believe this is part of why He has called me now—to teach me complete dependence on Him for clarity, provision, and peace. The moment I chose to obey, I experienced a profound shift. I had to relinquish control and lean entirely on God, not only for answers but also for the courage and comfort to face the uncertainty ahead.

This act of surrender has drawn me closer to God in ways I never imagined. Although I haven’t yet set foot in Panama, I already see His hand at work in my life. He has revealed His great love and provision in ways that fill me with gratitude and awe. This journey is not about the destination; it’s about transformation—learning to trust Him more deeply and experiencing His faithfulness firsthand. I am confident that this is only the beginning. I eagerly anticipate how He will continue to reveal Himself as I step into this new chapter, and I pray that through it all, I will grow in love and intimacy with Him. I am so thankful He has called me to this, and I cannot wait to see all He has in store.
