Please Help Our Parents

Thank you for taking the time to read about our parents. It means so much to be able to share their story during this time of need as our mom battles a rare cancer.

We are asking for help to ease some of the financial burden due to current and future debt pertaining to our parents medical services, transportation, lodging, food, parking fees, caregiver expenses, future appointments and surgeries, and all other expenses that fall on top of regular monthly expenses. Each trip to Mayo adds an enormous amount of hardship. Lastly, they have been traveling back and forth to appointments with our dads most trusted vehicle, a 2008 Toyota with 300,000 miles and issues that need to be attended to a.s.a.p. or replaced with another vehicle.

Mayo clinic diagnosed our mom (Christina) at the beginning of 2020 with a rare cancer that has few treatment options available--Malignant Mesothelioma of the Peritoneum. Our mom, will now undergo the third surgery with the expectation to stay hospitalized for up to two weeks. Additionally, there will be a numerous amount of follow-up trips for treatments and check-ups. If that were not enough, our parents were trying to save, so our dad could take time off to work on his own health issues.  While we do not know what the future will bring on this unexpected journey, we are prayerful the path we walk together as a family will be eased with love and support from others. Thank you for allowing us to share their story and supporting them.
