Help Carissa get back on her feet!

Last Saturday, 5/14, Carissa was in a serious motorcycle accident where she was struck by a full-sized truck. She was in critical condition for a couple days, but is now recovering beautifully.

However, she has multiple injuries that will keep her from work for several months, including a shattered leg, a collapsed lung, multiple fractured ribs, spinal fractures, several facial fractures and a liver laceration.

Let this serve as a message to all: Helmets work!! That, coupled with her strength and the skill of and care delivery by her close-knit Sparrow Family, is absolutely a testament to her ability to move forward in her healing.

The extent of these injuries won’t heal quickly. Therefore, if you are willing, we are asking for monetary assistance to put towards bills, medical care, etc. Her passion has been and always will be caring for others…let her now be on the receiving end of our care.
