Currently ranked 2nd in the national 18's age group, Jelani is well on his way to reaching his goals of becoming #1 again after suffering a serious knee injury while competing in the finals of the 2018 Winter National Championships. He has the focus and determination to work hard everyday to achieve his goal.

He is the first in his family to ever play tennis. That hasn't stopped him from holding a #1 sectional ranking in the states he has resided (MD & GA). Jelani has won over one hundred titles throughout his junior career and continues to break barriers.
He is only lacking the financial backing to travel in order to compete in the top tournaments around the country. He needs to maintain a high level of training in order to compete with other top players around the world. Jelani's long-term plan is to help other underserved youth that show exceptional talent and desire to achieve greatness.
Please support Jelani's Tennis Journey, it will be a gift that keeps on giving.
