Jelena's TM Teacher Training Course 2023

Dear friends and TM family,

My name is Jelena Stojilkovic from Belgrade, Serbia. I’m 30 years old. I come from a family of meditators and I learned the TM technique in 2007, age 14.

The most important part of my life started a few years ago when I finished the ’16 Lectures of Maharishi Yoga Asanas’ course. As my mother was the instructor of this course, I felt a very deep transcendence and connection to knowledge. Those experiences led me in search for more of the knowledge that Maharishi left to us, and I ended up doing the SCI course, getting advanced techniques, and in May 2022 I proudly became a Sidha. It was on my Sidhi course that I first recognised my wish to become a TM teacher.

In November 2022 I joined the MERU volunteer programme for 2 months. It was a real pleasure for me to meet so many wonderful and like-minded people, TM teachers, to be able to be in Maharishi’s home campus, and to learn and grow. That was the first time in my life that I felt that I was on the right path, that I found my own home in myself. It solidified the feeling that TTC is the right next step for me.

After this wonderful experience that I had on MERU, I came back two times more.

I was working in Maharishi's house and I helped with preparation of Guru Purnima this year.

I stayed for two months.

I am now preparing for the next Teacher Training Course, which will take place in Chanthaburi, Thailand from 26 September 2023 to March 2024.

I would like to invite you to support me on my journey to becoming a TM teacher.

My fundraising goal is 5,500 Euros, which covers a part of accommodation fee, health insurance, visa, and travel.

After completing TTC, it is my plan to return to Serbia and teach TM there. I look forward to teaching full-time and my goal is to introduce and initiate as many people as possible, especially young people who struggle with the pressures that are especially present in their/our generation.

It is my biggest wish to bring TM to schools in Serbia, and with my skills and MA in management, I will do my best to accomplish that.
