Jen Barrett’s Recovery Expenses

As many of you know my mom, Jen Barrett, has been hospitalized now for over three weeks. Earlier this month, she collapsed at work. She suffered a massive saddle pulmonary embolism, a blood clot had blocked blood flow to both her lungs. She remained on a ventilator in a medically induced coma for 10 days while her heart and lungs recovered. Currently, we are working on getting her strong enough to transfer to an inpatient rehabilitation center.

My mom has been a teacher for over 20 years. She loves what she does and absolutely adores her students. My mom has never hesitated to help others. I know she has done more for me than I can even put into words. While our darkest days are behind us, I would like my mom and dads main focus be her recovery.
