Jen McLellan & Family
Donation protected
My friend Jen McLellan's husband and son were in an awful car accident on the 16th that is one of those life-changing car accidents. It's the kind of accident that will keep her husband from being able to work and has her son and husband shaken up, bruised, hurt and THANKFULLY - alive.
Jen is the founder and creator of Plus Mommy and Plus Birth. Lots of you may follow her blog and may follow Jen on social media. Her husband is a baker and they moved to New Mexico two years ago.
They are going to need the help of their community, neighbors, friends, and family to survive through this awful scenario.
(You can scroll down to see the image of their car completely totaled.)
From Jen's FB page:
"Doc was pretty shocked looking at Chris’ CT scans and body and is taking this seriously. He said more than once that Chris is lucky to be alive. It’s all starting to feel so real. Thank goodness for seatbelts, booster chair for B, and airbags.
Chris is off work for at least a week from today and then on restriction when he goes back. Chris can hardly walk. We don’t have any income coming in with him not working and me having to care for him. We’ve hired an attorney and know this will work out over time (a car ran a red light and caused the car wreck) but for now things will be difficult."
If Jen’s work has impacted you or you have a few bucks to spare, please consider donating $5 to help her family stay afloat during this difficult time.
