Jen Ross Medical Expenses

My beautiful and amazing sister was involved in a horrific traffic accident on Sunday, May 5th, 2019. She was returning home from dropping off her two children with their dad when she was involved in a bad car accident. The firefighters had to cut out the steering wheel to extract her from her mangled vehicle. Her left arm and left leg were shattered. She was in intensive care at Harris Hospital in Ft. Worth for a week. She has had three surgeries in two days to insert a metal rod to replace her femur and a metal plate to try to rejoin what was left of her ulna. She has internal injuries and blood clots that might require further surgery in the future If it doesn’t get better. Now she is in a rehab hospital for an undetermined amount of time, learning how to recover from these injuries. Now, here is what we have to be thankful for. Her kids were not with her. She did not receive a serious head injury. Her spine is intact. She is awake but in extreme pain. She has health insurance. She has a loving family that will do our best to take care of her on her long journey of healing ahead. I’m setting this go fund me up to help with deductibles, medical expenses not covered by insurance or beyond maximum coverage, rent while she is not working, since, she has no short term disability. I hope this campaign can give her some comfort to know she has support  and let her concentrate on the business at hand of healing and getting back to being a good mom, a good daughter, and a good employee.
