Jenn Lawlor Memorial College Fund
Donation protected
Jennifer Lawlor passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family and friends on Sunday, June 2, 2019. Jenn succumbed to brain cancer after battling valiantly for more than four years, and leaves behind her husband Jason, and children Caleigh and Liam. Although the surgeries and cancer treatments may have been debilitating and wrought with pain, it never broke her spirit.
Just a few weeks before her passing, Jenn who was filled with pride and excitement, mustered the strength to travel down to Georgia to tour colleges for Caleigh. Caleigh is finishing her High School Junior year and will be applying for colleges in the fall during her Senior year. Liam has a few years to decide but has already shown an interest in studying Computer Science.
Upon the onset of her illness, Jenn could no longer work as a career caregiver and Registered Nurse for Atlantic Health System. Compounding the burden of years of ongoing medical costs and treatments has left their hopes for college savings largely unmet.
We established this fundraiser to honor Jenn's memory by raising donations to ensure both Caleigh and Liam have every opportunity to fulfill their college dreams.
If you would like to make a direct contribution, please make a check payable to Jason Lawlor and send to 290 Western Avenue, Morristown, NJ 07960.
Jenn had also wished, that in lieu of flowers, donations could be made in her memory to Mary's Place by the Sea.
If inclined, please share a photo or a memory in the comments as well.
Lastly, any questions or concerns, please contact David Lawlor ([email redacted])
