Hi, my name is Sheila Hipp and this is my oldest daughter Jenni. October 5, 2022 she was in a serious car accident leaving our neighborhood. She sustained internal injuries that were initially missed and now is facing a complex set of surgeries that can only be done at UCSF. She and her husband and our 6 yr old granddaughter are relocating to California so that she can be close to the surgeons who can help her. They estimate multiple surgeries that may span several years and she may likely have disabilities as a result. All funds donated will go to support her medical care. The first surgery is 6/30/2023 and we are told to expect a number of ICU days and 2-3 weeks in acute care followed by rehab, best case scenario. Second and subsequent surgeries are expected.
