Jennifer And Scott Raulerson Family

My name is Kelly Hale and my beautiful friend Jennifer Jernigan Raulerson lost her husband unexpectantly and in a tragic situation in the early morning hours of May 10th. This has left her with many expenses to be paid including medical, monthly expenses and funeral/burial expenses without any income coming in.

Scott was United States Air Force war veteran who served two deployments during the Gulf War (Desert Storm) and then spent twenty years as one of the best nurses who have ever graced the career. He was always a strong patient advocate who was very conscientious and compassionate in his care. He has lived a life of service to people and then suffered a great deal in his final hours while Jennifer, also a critical care RN, was forced to watch his decline and traumatic demise.

Scott, a soulmate like many dream of having, had asked Jennifer to retire in 2021 to ease her burdens; she has been a nurse for nearly 30 years. Their first granddaughter was born at the end of December and she was planning to care for their new granddaughter who has parents in work and school. This made him the sole breadwinner in their home. To find and go back to work immediately after the severe trauma she personally witnessed in the hours prior to and during her husband’s death would be even more devastating at this time. She needs some time to recover from this traumatic experience and to grieve the loss of the man she loved more than her next breath.
