Jennifer & Denali Blaine, Zach & Emily Leavitt

Nathan & Jennifer Blaine of Mantua Utah, are the remarkable parents of 5 beautiful children. Emily, Ben, Deven, Bronco, and Denali. Emily was the lovely bride of Zach Leavitt.

On Friday September 1st the Blaine family lost 4 of the 8 members of their precious family. Jennifer was driving with Emily, Zach, Denali, and Peaches their family dog. They were headed to the Tetons to meet up with Nathan and Bronco, who were already there hiking with friends. Jennifer crossed the line in the road and hit a semi head on. All lives in Jennifer's car were lost. Our hearts are shattered. Not only at the loss of our loved ones, but at the tragic way to which lives were lost. To lose 1 family member is unbearable. The Blaine's have lost 4, and Peaches.

Zach and Emily married a year ago August. We see the beauty in them going together. Jennifer, Denali and Peaches were inseparable. We see the beauty there also. They were all so compassionate, kind, and lovely in every way. We feel that they all just left a golden wake here on earth for us to mend our hearts with. All who knew them, had more light in their life because of their goodness.

Jennifer was the Director of Promontory School of Expeditionary Learning in Perry, UT. Denali was 11, and a shining, happy, energetic ray of sunshine everywhere she went. Zach and Emily were madly in love. They loved to travel, explore the outdoors and were currently diligent, dedicated students down at BYU in Provo.

Ben and Deven were welcomed home today from serving missions for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Ben has completed his mission just 2 weeks shy of his original return date. Deven will be home with the family for a few weeks then return to his service to preach the very message that gives him the strength to move forward.

With all of the sorrow and mourning, Nate, Ben, Deven and Bronco have held strong to the power of their belief in their Savior Jesus Christ. They have been a light to those around them. They have comforted those that have come to comfort. They have been the light that others have needed to grieve. Amidst their individual heart ache, they have held each other, grown, and bonded over this horrendous tragedy.

There has been such a huge outpouring of love and kindness, that we can't keep up with everyone trying to help through text, calls and email. Thank you, Thank you, from the bottom of our broken hearts for all the exceptional love and support that has been poured on this deserving family.

There will never be words to satisfy or dissipate the grief and broken hearts of the Blaine and Leavitt families. Everyone has been asking how to help or what to do so we have created a GoFundMe to give you a place to show your love and condolences. The loved ones of the Leavitt's will also be doing a GoFundMe, I will attach a link when it is complete.

Because of the severity of the accident the funeral is tentatively scheduled for Sept 16. We will let you know when we have any updates.
