Jennifer Gadson Emergency Fund

Donation protected
On October 8, 2023, Jennifer was injured by a severe fall in her garage. What was initally thought to be 4 broken ribs quickly turned in to a journey of unmanageable pain, respiratory distress, failing kidneys and now a medically induced coma and transport to MUSC. Jennifers oldest daughter, Kativa, husband Robert and sons Jae and Tae’Von along with her sister Rebecca are all now missing work while incurring tremendously high costs of lodging, eating and transportaion in Charleston and the ling commute back and forth to Bluffton in some cases. Meanwhile, Jennifer is receiving excellent medical care, which will obviously result in high and unexpected medical bills and will likely require future care for reciprocal issues.

As an integral part of a founding family in our community, Jennifer has served our community as a school teacher and raised her family with a deep love for the Bluffton/Hilton Head lowcountry area and all the wonderful things we stand for.

As you are able and feel led, please consider in your hearts assisting these people that have loved and served our area so well as they navigate the unimaginable and try to remain on their own two feet during this storm that has come their way.
