Jennifer L. Whetsel recovery

Hello! My name is Satchel M. Whetsel. I come to you as head representation of my family with 100% heart and honest intent. My Wife Jennifer L. Whetsel nearly passed away due to a sudden catastrophic physical loss. Performances of CPR, emergency surgery, and God’s presence & grace helped salvage her life. Now, she’s blessed to be able to start her recovery back to good physical and mental health. Unfortunately, we don’t have what it takes to conquer her medical & home expenses while conquering this near death experience. I was forced to put my full time career on hold and she was forced to put her full time career on hold. Creating this gofundme and telling this story was not easy to do and still isn’t a easy reality to accept for me. I’m usually strong enough to conquer any hurdle for my family and myself, but I’m starting to understand that it’s not meant for me to conquer everything in life. Things happen in life; and we as people take falls that are small, and falls that are great. I understand that I needed to be brave to ask for help. Nothing life changing, but general, genuine help to get us as a family back on track to rise again. Most of you know us very well. We are very caring, genuine, God fearing people. We know what it’s like being on the other side of this reach out and being the folk to help others out in need in life changing situations. We always took/take pride in that. If we can give to help other families in any way, we did! From food, to money, to helping at events, to just prayer, we loved doing it. We now understand the other side of it, understanding what help means when YOU need it. It takes a great amount of courage to ask for help while [fear] of reaching out is tapping you on your shoulder.
