Hi everyone, I've never done a GoFundMe before, but I really need your help for a dear friend of mine. A month ago or so, she ended up in the emergency room because she lost control of her legs due to a sciatic nerve in her back that she's been having issues with for a few years. Though she doesn't have medical insurance, they performed emergency surgery on her the next morning. She has been unable to work and does not receive any kind of paid time leave for the type of job that she has. As you can see from the bill, when she was only 16 days late in her June rent, they filed an eviction notice on her, and she has a court date on July 11th. They have charged her a $50 late fee and are charging her $15 per day for being late on her June rent, and July is right around the corner. She started working again last Friday, although medically, she's not supposed to yet. As an only child whose parents are gone, she has no family to turn to for help. I understand with the economy the way it is right now everyone is having a hard time but I'm asking if you could please give what you can and help me reach the goal of $3,000 which would pay off June and July for her. She has four dogs and a cat that would all be displaced if she ends up evicted. I have known Jennifer Martens since I was 17 years old and when I when I was in need she helped me so I'm praying that through this GoFundMe I can help her in her time of need.
