Jennifer Nitz's Journey To Recovery

On Thanksgiving morning Jen was hospitalized in the ICU with complications from a Hemorrhagic Stroke. As a result, she has suffered from an internal bleed at the brain stem. She was placed on a ventilator & has complications from brain swelling which is impairing her motor skills. Thankfully there are no severe brain deficits per her EEG Results. The hope is to get Jen off her ventilator in the next day or so. Jen has started responding to verbal prompts by nodding yes or no. She is squeezing hands & moving her feet. Which are all key components to her healing. Jen is still in critical condition as an infection is a risk for her. An amazing & loving mother, wife, sister, daughter, friend, coworker, the list goes on. She has touched so many lives & it truly shows through the prayers, support & encouragement you have all brought to the table. Jen has already surpassed many odds & we have SO much faith that she will continue to defy the odds as she continues to heal. An inspiration to all of us & one who is capable of moving mountains <3 Please continue to pray for her healing as she still has a long road ahead of her. With that said, there will also be many medical expenses in the months ahead for the Nitz family to endure & appreciate any support you may want to provide.
