Jenifer Reynolds and Family

Hi my name is Troy Heikes and I am fundraising for Jennifer Reynolds and her family Chris (Cook) husband and 3 kids Jill , Neelie and Gus. As a member of the NRHA National Reining Horses Association I’m sure at some point along the way you have been interviewed by Jennifer as Chris is working the Cameras. They have been so good to each and every one of us. At the 2022 Reining Futurity I was visiting with Chris and he informed me that Jennifer had Kidney Cancer! He told me that around Christmas time the Drs were going to remove one kidney and the tumor. All went well with the surgery and now it was time to heal. Unfortunately at the 6 month scan the cancer was back! Life became a whirlwind for them trying to see different Doctors for other opinions and extreme medical costs all while working to pay the bills! Jennifer is a strong fighter and has the best outlook on this whole journey. There is one thing that they as a family would like to do. Their son Gus has qualified for team USA in Rowing (If you have seen any clips of him he is incredible!) to be held in Italy! With all of the medical expenses it looked like not only could the family not go but they weren’t going to be able to send Gus either! While Chris was telling me this my mind went to (Our NRHA Family and Friends are going to step up and give back to this wonderful family and help send Jennifer and her family to Italy to enjoy and support Gus.) I’m not very good at putting things into words but I ask for anyone that can donate please do. I know the NRHA Members are one big family and my hopes are that we can help this family. Thank you!
