12/3/18 Just wanted to share an update. She's improving every day. This morning she's able to wiggle her toes and is putting longer sentences together including telling stories about her childhood. Please continue to keep her and her family in your thoughts and prayers and keep sharing! On Tuesday, November 27th Jen was admitted to Lake Forest Hospital after experiencing lack of feeling and numbness in her right arm and leg.  A CT scan revealed it was a mass on her brain. An MRI on the 28th confirmed Jen had a tumor about the size of a walnut on the left side of her brain. Surgery was scheduled and performed on Thursday which was successful. The surgeon said the surgery went well and was confident he removed the mass in its entirety. Depending on her progress she may need in-patient rehabilitation but as of right now it is a day to day, hour by hour basis. Biopsy results are expected within a week or two and will determine treatment. The road to recovery is going to be long and how long is unknown. The Holiday Season is a busy time of year for everyone but it is also a time of giving. Any contribution would help with medical bills to come.  All donations received will go directly to the family. Those of you who know Jen, know that she is a very strong, independent and giving person who takes her relationships seriously & would do anything for anyone.  It’s time for us to show her our support while she is traveling through this unexpected & difficult road in her & her family’s life. Thank you and please keep Jen & her family in your prayers. Much love to all!
