Merry Christmas to everyone and we hope you all are having a better holiday than we are. Jennifer Zimmerman (my wife) had recently gotten I'll from either a flu or something that ended up turning into pneumonia and sepsis. We had gone through a local clinic earlier in the week and she appeared to be recovering. We had prior plans to go on a holiday vacation to Colorado and since she seemed to be recovering greatly, we went through with the trip. From Monday to Friday she went from being bed ridden to regaining her energy being able to eat and drink. But that Friday night something went horribly south and she was having alot of troubles breathing. Took her to the nearest urgent care where they had tried to give fluids and control her oxygen. They couldn't stabilize her vitals so she was then sent to an e.r. nearby via ambulance. When I was allowed to see her she had been intubated and essentially placed in a medically induced coma. She had become septic and developed a severe pneumonia and all the associated issues that accompanies that. The e.r. she was transported to couldn't stabilize her either and didn't have the equipment available should he condition decline further. She was then life flighted to another hospital that had the staff and equipment to stabilize her. She's since been under and on a ventilator. She is now progressing but slowly. The help I am asking for is help for medical bills and bills in general. I am a travelling contractor and will be having to put off my next contract to be home for her and the kids until a time that she is doing better. That essentially leaves us both unemployed for the moment. Anything will help and I hate to even start a go fund me. Our trip was a celebration for new things to come and my recently acquired job, our marriage anniversary, and the great things we hoped to accomplish in the new year. It's a horrible start and if anyone can help us make it less horrible, then you are very appreciated. Again merry Christmas and I hope no one else is having to do this. 10,000 is of course a stretch. The medical bills alone are going to far exceed that anyhow. Please just help me keep my bills paid, anything else after that will go to medic bills. Thank you all.
