Jennifer's Journey with Melanoma

Early in May 2023, I made a trip to the emergency room for what I thought was chest pain, and walked out finding out that I may have cancer! After a brutal week of waiting, it was confirmed by my Oncologist that I have Stage IV Advanced, Melanoma , and treatments were started right away. I completed some radiation and had 2 immunotherapy treatments. Sad thing is, I had a reaction to the immunotherapy and for now that is on hold. I’m still working and fighting as much as possible to get on to another treatment regimen. With all this being said, it has not been easy to be off work, take care of my baby girl, and maintain the house. My husband has been my rock, and I knew that he would always have my side and my back.

We are seeking financial assistance to cover our increasing medical costs, plus the cost for transportation, food and care for our daughter and pets while I am unable to work.

I want to thank everybody who has already stepped in and started to help, you have no idea how much it means to me to feel so loved, and supported. I hope everyone is keeping safe and staying well during these hot and humid days, increasing prices, and everything and just plain life changes.
