Jennifer is a 49 years young, single mom of four children: Robert, 24, Anna, 22 and twins, Emily and Brock, 16. She has a strong 'I-Can-Do-It Attutude', has a tender heart for our canine counterparts and partakes in her guilty pleasure of eating a good salad. She, along with Emily and Brock live in Sartell where she is employeed at BlueStem Fullfillment, Inc.
In December of '12, Jennifer was diagnosed with Non- Hodgkins Lymphoma. During the last three years, she has undergone several surgeries. She had recently discovered another cancerous lymph node and was undergoing her second round of chemo at Centra Care Cancer Treatment Center.
On December 2, unrelated to the Lymphoma, she was admitted into the St, Cloud Hospital E.R. with abdominal pains and underwent emergency surgery to correct a colon issue. Due to intense pain and slow recovery, she remained in the care of the hospital, On Dec 9th her vitals indicated problems, she was moved to ICU and underwent a second emergency surgery. A third surgery was performed on Dec. 11 and a forth on Dec. 13. She remains in ICU on a breathing tube . Her team of physicians anticapate a minimum of 7-10 additional days of hospitalization and an 8 week recovery period once she is released, during which she will need to resume her chemo treatment.
Jennifer has basic health insurance and, as her family, we will be helping emotioanlly and financially. However, additional funding will be neccessary to cover medical bills, house payments etc.
We humbly ask you to consider making a much appreciated donation to help her and her children through this crucial and demanding time. Please know how very much your generousity is valued.
