Jenny Bell Memorial Potlatch

Our mother, Jennifer Bell (Deisheetaan of Yeil Saagi Hit, Angoon) walked into the forest to join our ancestors on February 16, 2022, after a short ICU stay at Alta Bates in Oakland, CA. The moon was full in the sky, and her children were all at the hospital and had a chance to shower her with our love before her passing.

Due to COVID and other challenges, we will be having her memorial potlatch a bit after 100 days, on June 25 in Anchorage, Alaska. We have started this fundraiser for any who might want to contribute to her potlatch. This way, we can properly account for and thank you for your generosity.

We have also started an email account where her relatives and friends can share stories and/or pictures with the family and stay informed on the details of her potlatch. All contributors will be added to the list to receive updates unless otherwise requested.
