Jenny Benson (Savage) & Logan Gardner

The Community of Superior, MT endured a tragic loss of two of their own long-time residents, friends and family members- Jenny Benson (Savage) and Logan Gardner on August 27, 2023.

All who knew Jenny could tell you of her sweet, kind soul whose smile made anyone feel welcome regardless the situation. Her shy laugh and sincerity only made a person love her more. She was a friend to almost everyone, and like every kid in the county kept those friends close to her heart and made lifelong connections- Logan being one of them.

Jenny leaves behind two beautiful daughters Paige and Taylor. A portion of the money will go directly to them as her eldest daughter Paige is traveling to and from Superior and handling he mothers affairs. Your support and help means the world to both girls and they thank the community for wrapping their arms around them during this most difficult time.

Logan, like Jenny could make friends with almost anyone. He greeted everyone he knew with his big warm smile or like some would say “shit-eating grin”. He could make anyone’s day with his big-warm embrace and was always gentle and kind. . A great listener and friend, he would do anything for almost anyone without question and help a friend whenever he could.

Logan leaves behind his brother Cody and nephew. Cody will be handling Logan’s affairs and thanks the community for the outpouring of support during this most difficult time. A portion of money earned will go to Cody to handle Logan’s affairs.

The community of Superior and those who call it home are riveted by this unsurmountable loss and are striving to come together as a community to overcome this horrific tragedy and support the victims families. Loretta Parker has organized a community event fundraiser to be held on Saturday September 16th in support of the families of Jenny and Logan.

The community of Superior needs your support- It is highly encouraged to show your support and build community in person; however for those who cannot attend the event please feel free to donate any amount you are able. Donations of non-cash items for the Community Event can be dropped off at the Nugget Lounge in Superior.
