Jenny sadly passed away on 21st December 2022. In her memory, we are buying trees instead of flowers.

We plan to dedicate an area of woodland in South Wales, near the seaside she loved to visit, and close to her adopted Welsh family and friends. There will be a new wooden bench dedicated to Jenny and an acre of forest.

At Cwm George and Casehill Woods near Dinas Powys, there are four woods, creating a complex mix of habitats, including semi-ancient woodland, new planting and open meadows. These surround Dinas Powys hill fort - an ancient monument, which dates from around 450 BC.

The Woodland Trust will be the beneficiary of your donations. Though new trees will not be planted at Dinas Powys - the money will be used to plant new trees elsewhere in the UK.

Currently, The Woodland Trust is experiencing difficulty processing multiple donations for the same dedication, so we will purchase the plot from them once fundraising is complete.

If you want to donate directly and purchase a single tree, for example, that is easy on their website. However, donating collectively means that together we can make the memorial for Jenny on that specific site.
