Hi everyone
My name is Amanda, Jenny was my best friend of 28 years. We met in middle school and hit it off immediately. We spent our high school days studying and running around the good ol city of Soddy Daisy TN listening to every boy band out there. We went our separate ways after high school and started families, but kept in touch as much as possible. She was my daughter's Auntie Jenny and her 2nd mama bear, and I have the honor of being Auntie Manda to her kids. She loved her family more than anything and fought non-stop for her 2 autistic boys to have the best care and education she could get for them while raising a daughter, going to school and working full time. She also took on raising her husband's 2 boys without hesitation when their mom left them. She never called them step sons but just her sons..simply amazing. She never wanted anyone to feel unloved or excluded and went well out of her way to make sure we all had every ounce of love she could pour. Jenny was our fiercest defender and gentlest comforter. She put everybody else first, no matter the circumstances. Jenny was incredibly sick for the last 6 years but never let on or let it stop her. She ended up on life support and passed away today 1/30/24 after a long bout of sepsis. It's our turn to step in for Jenny and take care of the 5 children she leaves behind and honor her memory. For that, we need your help. Our goal is to raise at least $20k so that her children can bury their mom and give their dads help with expenses associated with their care.
