Jenny Kemp Ovarian Cancer Fundraiser

Hi guys,

 

Some of you may know our Mum has been diagnosed with Ovarian Cancer. She is a strong women and has always been the rock for many in many ways! We just want her to know she’s not alone and that she is loved.

Mum’s not one to ask for help and seeing her so vulnerable, sick and exhausted sucks! A wave of emotions floods for her, as I can only imagine how she feels. I feel so grateful to be able to be here for her (for her journey) to beat this bitch!

 

She’s A Mum to many, a friend to all, always a laugh but right now I just want her to know it’s ok to be vulnerable and to reach out and ask for the little things that I know that can make her day that little bit easier.

 

Mum has started her chemo and up to her 3rd round and unfortunately the cancer treatment  has not responded to it. At the start she got a bounce of energy and assured us that she was ok. She is now feeling the treatment taking it’s toll on her body, mind & energy levels and noticing the long term negative effects that comes with chemo.

 

She’s been pushing as hard as she can and maintaining a positive outlook to work at her coffee van not only for the obvious but for mental aspect (every 3rd weekend post treatment) but this has been a challenge for her in many ways! I envy her strength & I know she will beat this but in the meantime she has a big fight ahead of her and needs her rest, us kids, family and friends more than ever.

 

To make her journey as smooth as possible I have started this fundraiser to help her through her treatment and show her some love,

and that together with support it can be

that little bit easier.

 

Her surgery will take place at the end of the month so we are hoping for positive news

going forward with treatment.
