Jenny Peek

Our friend and colleague, Jenny Peek could use our help. She had a hip replacement surgery last year that went terribly awry. Insurance declined to pay for much of the second surgery and rehab. Jenny has been in a part-time ministry since graduating from seminary. This year, the congregation voted to install her as their called minister (yeah!) and increase her hours and pay, but student debt and a small income has taken its toll. Jenny has managed by sharing her apartment with two adult sons, but the bills have piled up never-the-less. Anyone who has been in credit card/medical bills/student loan hell knows how exhausting and pervasive this kind of stress is. But maybe Jenny doesn't need to struggle in that hole all by herself when she has us. Go Fund Me no longer requires the goal to be met in order for Jenny to get the money, so we are setting the goal high. Any amount we reach will lift some weight from her spirit. The amount requested is 30,000. $22,650 is medical debt with the remainder being consumer and student loan debt. Thank you for any help you can lend.
