Kidney Transplant and recovery cost

Side note: We will also update you on a medical bank account as soon as that is set up.   In March of 2016 Jenny Stansel was diagnosed with end stage renal (kidney) disease, meaning she had a choice to undergo dialysis or face certain death. Jenny has been specially trained to administer dialysis for herself. The process of 10- 1/2 hours of dialysis every night is keeping Jenny kickin! Although it has been a turbulent ride Jenny has finally met her match! Jodi Harskamp of Anchorage. Jenny and Jodi will undergo transplant March 13th 2017. The pair are required to spend several weeks away from home.  Unfortunately the post -op expenses are not covered by insurance (transportation, housing, meals etc.)  Because of strict stipulations they must be cared for 24-7 and undergo  daily observation and testing.  As you can imagine these expenses are costly and after surgery Jenny will have been out of a job for over a year. Jenny also does not want her gracious donor to have to pay for anything out of pocket especially after giving so much out of the kindness of her heart. We are setting up this account for Jenny and Jodi so that they may recover without the stress of financial burden on their families and caregivers.
